What is Actionscript

Action Script is one of the dialects of ECMAScript that is primarily used in the process of creating websites and software that utilize Adobe Flash Player. Initially, Action Script was created to manipulate the motion of 2-dimensional object animations used in Adobe Flash Player.

The latest version of Action Script has improved functionality, allowing it to be used for creating or developing more complex web-based games and internet applications.

Currently, Action Script is often used in various Database Applications, robot programming, and "Make Controller Kit" programming.
