Dynamic website is a website that is organized by content and layout that hold a large amount of information. This type of website is called Dynamic because the content can be modified by a special system designed to change the appearance on the Dynamic Website. Websites that are created using server language such as PHP, Perl, ASP, NET, JSP, ColdFusion are examples of Dynamic website. This type of website is perfect for E-Commerce website that requires continuous data update. Dynamic website can be easily maintained by using Content Management System (CMS).
Static website is a type of website that does not allow the content to be altered. Once the website is created and online, static website cannot be change unless it is changed manually by changing the programming language of the website. This causes the website to be less interactive and looks more like an online brochure because the information provided is very limited.

- Less interactive website
- Static content, the content is usually not updated often
- Limited interactivity with user
- Not using database
